The Hospitality Team is combined of the Ushers and Greeters' Ministries. Both of these are vital to the church as they provide a first-impression of a friendly face to the visitors as well as members. Greeters are stationed by the main doors and welcome church attendees as they enter the building. They greet guests with a friendly smile, and distribute church bulletins. Greeters are a source of information and assist guests at the welcome desk by directing them and escorting them to a place they need to go such as Sunday School classes, restrooms, children's church, nursery, and they are always on hand to answer general questions. Ushers are often used for assisting people in finding a seat, receiving the offering, passing out materials, serving communion, opening and closing doors, and assisting people with any special needs during a worship service. They work with the Greeters to ensure that all regular attenders and guests feel welcome. They also monitor the doorways of the sanctuary throughout the entire worship service.
